A little less popular, but no less reliable composite tiles are a roofing coating of a steel sheet coated with a layer of alucine, on which a layer of basalt granulatory is applied. Another type of roof is cement-sand tiles. This is a natural tile made of quartz sand and Portland cement with an admixture of pigments.
